    CLIL: How to Teach Science offers teachers a set of key concepts to support effective teaching of science in CLIL contexts. By working with this module’s resources and activities, participants will review methodological principles and practical issues which will enable them to develop sound content-based lessons to teach science to children, and to do so in English.

    L2 Literacy offers teachers of English in preschool and primary school a set of basic principles to handle foreign language literacy. By working with this module’s resources and activities, participants will review some approaches to teaching literacy and develop models to strengthen reading and writing in the English classroom.

    Assessment: Preschool and Primary Children considers a range of assessment types and helps teachers to select and implement the best assessment tools for their preschool and primary school classes. Participants will look at the reasons and the uses of assessment, and learn how to use assessment not only to measure progress, but as a learning tool for students to understand their own development.

    Teaching Preschool and Primary Children is designed to help teachers explore common themes in teaching young children and provide the tools and techniques they need for successful classes.  The module works through common issues in the young learner classroom and proposes a number of both theoretical and practical approaches to teaching, culminating in the creation of a lesson plan for the participants’ chosen age group.
